American Idol
Maybe I'm just getting too old for this show, but I have tried to watch some this season and I just cannot get into it at all! I wasn't crazy about the additional judge last year, and this year although I like Ellen, I just am not crazy about the judges in general, except Simon.
I am afraid once Simon is gone, the show will be finished. Anyone else want to weigh in? Melissa

Feel the same way!
I couldn't agree more. If Simon leaves the show, I'm not going to watch it, especially if they replace Simon with Howard Stern. I was disappointed last year when Adam didn't win, and I will probably feel the same way if Crystal doesn't. I don't really care for the top 12 line up. I thought there was way more talent out there than the ones that were chosen. What does Ellen know about singing anyway? Lol

Simon is one of the reasons why I watch American Idol he tells them like it is and compared to the real world of show business he is way kinder.

Well Paige is gone...don't know who will go next but the ladies are getting voted left and right. I just hope they don't vote off Crystal!

I wasn't impressed with the top 12 this year, however, they are beginning to grow on me a little. Right now Siobhan is my favorite of the girls (even though she's a wee odd lol). I don't know about the guys yet.
This is my last year to watch. I actually am liking all the judges this year. The show won't be the same without Simon though.

I wasn't impressed with the top 12 either. I did however, like Crystal and big Mike. The rest of them, eh...lol. I didn't like Mike's performance either, but I guess they still kept him. We will have to wait and see what the rest of the weeks bring, I guess?

I have to jump in and join the crowd. IT is funny how I listen to some contestant and I think to myself "What was that?" and then the first three judges praise them. When I start to question my hearing abilities, Simon steps up to the plate and calls things as they are.
Like danna21, I like Mike and Crystal.
