I prefer cats because they are independent and at times love having their personal space
as much as I prefer having mine.

I love cats!

I have a dog and I love her to death but shes really pushy and knocks me over :-P
I know once shes older she will calm down. My cats are great and lovey but they keep to themselves for the most part.

Heard about maine coon cats. Apparently they have the personality of a dog but are cats so no need to take them outside or take for walks. Sounds perfect for me because I love my puppies personality but hate freezing my butt off waiting for her to do her business :-P

It always seems to be this or that, but never both. I love my dog and two cats. My husband is more a dog person, but has grown fond of our cats too.
