Default Feeding multiple cats wet food only

I have 7 cats and 2 have recently come down with costly illnesses (one with fatty liver and one with bladder stones). Everything I read says cats should only eat wet food. Does anyone here have a large group of cats that they feed wet on a schedule? I need some advice how to do it since I've only ever free-fed dry.

Thanks for your help.

I have two cats but I split a small can of friskes cat food with both of them in the morning, then they have dry food the rest of the day sometimes they eat what I eat. Sorry, don't know what to tell you to do for the 7 cats except I would probably do about the same thing split the can (cans) evenly as much as possible.

Note: When the had that cat and dog food scare friskes wasn't on that list. Hope this helps you.

I think wet food is good but stay away from name brand companies that don't have very nutritious products. Find specialty animal shops that have healthier food options. That is usually all you need.

I've noticed that feeding our cats wet foods, gives them diarrhea. I steer clear of it, and just feed them the natural dry food.

Sorry to hear about your cats. I have a 17 and 18 year old. The vet told me they both need to be on can food since they will get more water from it. One gets dehydrated often. I feed mine 3 smaller meals a day (with meds) and leave dry food sitting out.

I would suggest, if you can, seperate the two ill cats and feed them can food in the morning and evening.

what about raw food? Would this be ok for their conditions? I feed my cats a mix of raw, wet and premium dry. I add supplements to the raw also.

I'm not a fan of raw so I'd rather feed a good cat food.
