Does anyone use that Special Kitty Cat Litter

Here in NM one store told me that it was removed completed from their store which is odd this is their brand use to be $2.78 now it is $3.50. Went to another store was told someone came in a bought up the 23 bags that they had told me another store shows 15 bags and the warehouse is out. So I went to the 3rd store and was told some lady came in and bought all 15 bags, but that they will have it restocked today.

So I got up early arrived at 6:30am, and found out no they don't have it and don't know for sure when it will be in. This is the cheapest cat litter I can find and it is 25 lbs, I use a sack a week have two cats so is anyone else having this problem or is just me. (

I have used it in the past and didn't really like it.

I actually use the Recycled Paper Pellets and I LOVE them!! They are amazing and you don't go through near as much litter! I get it at a Pet store for around $9 for a 40 pound bag and it last for quite some time. You don't even have to scoop daily I just dump it once a week (only have 1 cat) and replace the litter. I will never go back to regular litter again the sales girl at Petco was right it is incredible!!

I was wondering how those pellets work, I have tried other recycled types. I just hate the clumping kind that I find dragged all over the house............

I have actually used the Special Kitty for years. For awhile they had some in a brown box that had crystals and that was my favorite. They quit carrying it. I thought it controlled odors just fine. Just like any litter, it does get strewn outside the box. We keep it in our Utility Room though. I do scoop it everynight. Not because it stinks per se but because I have two cats so I just always want to make sure it is fairly clean for them to be in. When I scoop each night, I have a handheld little broom and dust pan set that I use to sweep up the litter that has been tossed our around the box.
