Another option is tried a different kind of cat litter that too could be the problem.

My cat has been peeing in the corner of my dining room. I have started keeping the door shut, but he goes in the same spot everytime! It is driving me up the wall. My husband bought something called Pee-Pee to take the odor out and to try to prevent him from going there, again. I don't know if it is working yet. I just don't understand while all of a sudden the cat started going there. He's the only pet in the house. Now, we do have 5 kids here, so he could be trying to get our attention.

Call your vet and ask them what to do.

You can try teaching him again where is the bathroom. He might be confuse on which is which as the place is totally new for him. I believe he will eventually learn his mistakes once you train him.

Two months ago I moved. The first 2 or 3 weeks were fine. But recently, she has taken to peeing all over the place. In her food bowl, middle of the hallway floor...even on the kitchen counter. EWWWW! Totally...ICK!

Moving is traumatic for them, I'm sure. But since she already has questionable "bathroom habits", is there anything I can do to make her stop this? It's awful!
Try steam cleaning carpets with a water vinegar mix. They may be marking their territories from a prior animal in the house. Clean baseboards and other floors with the same mix. I had the same problem and it helped! Good luck I know it is extremely irritating to have to deal with this!

When you have more than one cat, sometimes having more than one litter box helps. You could even try three or four in different areas. Also, you can buy a spray that they hate the smell of and it will repel them from whatever area you want. (Walmart sells it) To save money and go more natural, try sprinkling cayenne pepper where you don't want them peeing. One small whiff and they won't go near it. It won't hurt them because they are aware it's pepper before they get too close.
