I don't know how great ice cream is for dogs, but they do actually make "doggie ice cream" - that is what I give my dogs & they love it! There are a couple of different kinds, both very similar - Frosty Paws and Dogsters. Mine love the peanut butter flavored ones

Default I'm bad too!

I know I shouldn't but I give my dogs a little vanilla ice cream. In fact I've been at some ice cream stands that will make up a little doggie cup.

I also give them frosty paws which they love. My dogs are spoiled!

We also buy them the doggy brand ice creams. The people ice cream makes some of them sick so I avoid it. Nothing wrong with spoiling them with the real stuff sometimes if their tummy's can handle it.

Funny thing is, my dogs prefer carrots to anything as a treat, except for the bulldog, he loves pumpkin! He actually tries to steal the carved pumpkins and eat them every year at Halloween so we have to watch him! lol

Happy Monday!

Christine

I have Great Danes and yes they get vanilla ice cream. I asked my vet about it and he just smiled and said that an ice cream cone every once in a while doesn't hurt. Just for me to make sure there isn't any choc;ate involved.

Default Frosty paws

I only give ice cream on occasion, and even then, I give frosty paws. Lower fat content.
