Default Question about Pampered Chef

Hello, I have been using Pampered Chef for years and am considering becoming a distributor. However, I do not want to hold home parties but simply have an online retail presence. Can anyone tell me if that is possible with Pampered Chef? To have an online store but not do the home parties? Thanks,

I am sure it is possible, if you have a very strong marketing plan. The only thing I would advise you of, is that with Pampered Chef, you do not have the ability to accept online orders through your website until you have sold $1250. So you would have to collect catalog orders to sell your $1250 and then your website would be set up for online ordering. Hope that answers your question!

I know a number of consultants that do exclusive catalog shows and have been successful.

Default Hold on a sec:

We are not allowed to link our websites to any search engines. So what you need to be able to do plan is HOW are you going to get the word out that you are opening your own PC business? It can be done but a good mentor would make your life much easier. Jump in but jump in wisely and really plan well HOW you are going to do this.
What are your needs/goals? What kind of money do you want to earn? How can I market myself without a link to my website? Where are my best options to generate interest in my products.
We are allowed to do online shows but I never find them as lucrative as "live" cooking shows. I can yack for hours about what a great product the DCB is but if I am doing it in front of an audience that can actually TASTE the 20 minute chicken I am guaranteed a better show.
I don't mean to be a dream breaker but I have been selling PC a long time and when I chat with a recruit (I have 5) I always want them to know the good and the bad. I have seen to many walk away and give up when things get tough only to re-open yet another direct sales biz. Things do get tough, when you've had your 4th show in a row cancel or an error in shiipping and the host or guest scream at you you can't give up. Always remember it takes a long time to build a sucessful biz.

Default Maybe not

I was thinking of joining Pampered Chef after several months of looking and researching but after reading this, no way. Not allowed to do website sales until you reach a certain dollar amount? What kind of crap is that? In terms of direct party sales companies this is the first one I have found that works like that.
