Anyone know anything about them? I have an interview next week.

I'm excited - hoping it is legit. Don't know how much they pay.

I believe this is Tutor ABC. There is a lot of info about them on the forum, including pay rate.

Yes, they start out at $8.50/hr plus bonuses. I love working with them. Get paid around $500 for work this month. I work 15 hours a week.

For some reason, my bandwidth doesn't seem to register when the TutorABC site does a test on it :-(. I know the requirements are 512 kbps upload speed and the speed test website shows that I have more than that (about 712). But the TutorABC site tells me I have less so it won't let me submit an application.

I might just email them and ask them about that.

My hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. You also could choose to work 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. if those hours would work best.

In theory, they are open for business 24 hours a day/7 days a week. So perhaps I could work more hours. Right now, I'm working on developing an Instructional Design project so working 15 hours a week is just peachy for me.

They often e-mail me to see if I'm available on the weekends. Right now, my daughter is on the swim team and we have swim meets on the weekends so that is not an option for me. After the swim season is over, I may try to pick up a few shifts.

Know that with each and every lesson you are rated by students and take those ratings and suggestions to improve your teaching.

As I have said before, I LOVE teaching with them and like the opportunity to work from home, work with respectful students, and teach many different levels of students, from those who are first learning English to those who are working on Doctoral Degrees in college.

Any questions, just ask!
