Yes I do sell and buy from yardsellr. I think its a great way to sell without fees like ebay lol.

I went to check out the site and you have to create an account to even look at any listings.
Sorry, that turned me off - I didn't join
I can see registering to actually buy or sell, but to just check out the site? dumb

Agreed it is dumb. I did register with Yardsellr to see the items, I should have known better, my mailbox immediately started getting flooded with messages that people wanted to give me photon credits. Dumb, dumb, dumb!

Um, do you realize that Photons = CASH to spend on the site? You can easily click unsubscribe if you're not interested anymore.

I think they do that in hopes that you'll buy something right away because you get a $5 credit and it starts ticking down (~80 cents per day). They want to create a "gotta buy now" atmosphere. It's great for sellers (like me), not so much for buyers. I do buy upon occasion and I like having Photons because they're basically a discount on anything I want to buy.

I know what photons are, don't care. I don't appreciate my e-mail getting flooded by a site that I am forced to subscribe to in order to view it before I even am able to learn about photons and know that is going to happen. If I were able to view the site without revealing my e-mail first I may feel different. I have finally unsubscribed (I think) but it took 3 tries.

If they chased me away.. How many thousands of "potential" buyers did they chase away too?

It is not good business practise (in any business) to make your customers nervous about doing
business with you PERIOD......

You can't even leave them feedback without registering....Thats like Walmart saying sorry you cant shop
here, but we'd like to know why you wont shop here - but you have to shop here first before you can tell
us why you wont shop here.. again very, very, dumb
