Default Legitimate wholesale sources

I'm looking for legitimate wholesale sources... the ones where you have to have a reseller id to purchase. I'm trying to decide if I want to sell my own items that I purchase wholesale or just find a direct sales company with products I love. I'm looking for sources where I can sell items online and offline. Looking for bling purses, jewelry , bath/body items, home decor. thanks

You can find a lot of wholesale distributors on the wholesalecentral.com website. You can also bid on wholesale items on liquidation.com.

Default why not buy direct?

If you keep the packages small, you can easily import from overseas. Even with air freight, your prices should be competitive

I have tried liquidation.com and some stuff was great and other stuff was a total waste of money. So be careful and know exactlly what you are getting. The stuff from china can be a great deal and really exciting just make sure you understand the shipping costs involed. Good luck and it sounds like there is a lot of great advice out there

Hi there,

I am not sure if this will help, but I was researching some products today and came across two web sites that I wanted to share.

The first one was interesting, but they do not really have any items that fit my selling preferences. Some of the items are cute though. The prices aren't the best, but you can buy in small enough quantities that can help small timers get started. I have no experience with them and I really don't know how good of a company it is, but from the looks of it they seem legit. Their web site is:

Welcome To Novelty Inc. Wholesale - Miscellaneous Wholesale Novelties

They also seemed to have had a liquidation section somewhere on their site, but I can find the link I had for it.

Another company that I stumbled across was:

Wholesale Liquidation Closeout & General Merchandise, Overstock Items, Surplus Salvage Merchandise

They also sell under-priced items and let you buy in relatively smaller quantities than most liquidators.

Please if you decide to buy from sites like this make sure that you only buy items that are special and you think you can sell. Most of this stuff will not be easy to sell, but now and then you may find something that will work for you. This takes experience, and it is a gamble. You might not make money on every item, but that is the nature of business. Just make sure you make profit most of the time!

Lastly, I wanted to share an international directory that I enjoyed browsing and have some potential new contacts with. The directory is not as invasive as most of the sites that make you sign up to make inquiries or get more specifics. They provide web site addresses for companies that have them, but a good majority of the company's sites are no longer working, and I would guess that some of the companies no longer exist. The site is:

Global B2B (Business to Business) Company Directory. Suppliers, Manufacturers, Exporters & Importers

If anything, this may provide you with an idea of what products are out there so that you can do further research on them.

I hope this helps some of you. Make some money!
