Well that really depends on a lot of factors.

1. How are your prices.

2. Are your items new or used.

3. What is your price on shipping.

4. How nice looking are the clothes.

You may want to also consider that nothing is really easy to sell on ebay now days. At least not most things. We have ebay/paypal high fees that can eat up profits. The recession and high competition in the clothing section. These are all things to take into consideration when trying to sell on ebay.

If you plan to make a business out of this you make wanna look into getting your own website where you keep all the profits. You can use ebay as a advertising platform to bring return costumers to your website.

My initial guess would be from their children's closets. Most kids and babies (in particular) out grow their clothes before they destroy them.tuxedo pants

Default Selling Clothes on Ebay

Its easier with name brand clothes like Gymboree or LL Bean. Look at what others are offering similar to what you want to sell. Use a good title, great picture, lots of information, low price, reasonable shipping. You won't get rich but you should be able to sell some items.

Default Selling Name Brand Apparel on eBay

They real key to reselling apparel on eBay is having access to higher end Brand name apparel. Those searching eBay are looking for deals on clothing that would normally cost and "arm and a leg" in stores. Some of the best brands to resell on eBay are those found in Macy's - Bloomingdales & Nordstrom.

Default Yes, it's very easy!

It is extremely easy to sell clothes on eBay. Begin in your own closets and sell what you have. This will give you a feel of how ebay works. If you want to know how to price your item, click "advanced search". When the page loads, enter your keywords and check "completed listings" then scroll down the page to the "sort results" drop down menu and select "price: highest to lowest". Make sure all clothing is laundered, if there are any imperfections, make sure you mention them (stain, spot, rip, etc). Also, make sure your clothes are ironed. If you are selling a "lot" of clothing, make sure to take pictures of all the items, not just one big picture of everything folded up. Be sure to put the brand name(s) in the title.

Just action whenever you have something coming up your mind. You don't need to guess if it works. Just post your stuff and in a week or two, you'll know the results. Then you can determine if you can expand the scale, or find some other better channels.
