Telephone Shops for Strong Writers

Hi WAHM Forum-goers,

Perception Strategies is looking to increase its roster of telephone shoppers due to several new contracts we've signed with our clients. These are flexible, independent contractor opportunities where you can complete as much (or as little) work as you want.


To be considered as a shopper, all applicants must:
* Have reliable internet and the ability to check email regularly
* Be strong writers - all of our shops focus on a written narrative, so if you don't like to write this probably isn't the best fit for you
* Be detail-oriented
* Be reliable and able to consistently produce quality, on time work



Our phone shops pay between $12 and $17 each, and are usually one to two page long reports. Our shoppers are given one week from the date assigned to complete shops on their own time (i.e. when the kids are at school, naptime, etc)


To apply, go to Perstrat.com and click on the "Interested in Becoming a Mystery Shopper?" link. This will lead you to a short application. After you submit your application, you will receive an email asking you to fill out a writing sample at Perception Strategies


Once we are able to set aside time for new shopper training sessions, we will contact the applicants with the best writing samples for interviews. If you do not receive a denial email, your information will be set aside into a "wait list" of applicants until we are able to schedule times for interviews and training. We will not be contacting applicants that do not fill out a writing sample.

Can you guarantee a certain amount of calls a day or week?

I applied the other day but haven't gotten to the sample report yet due preparing for the holiday, but I would definitely love to do this.

Has anyone heard anything back from Perception? I applied almost 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing back, even though I completed the sample. I know they said response time would be a week or two but just wondering if anyone has heard anything sooner. Thanks!

I finally heard back today and I got the job! I think it's going to be great and I am very excited!!

We don't guarantee a certain amount of shops, but we do our best to help you meet your goals. New shoppers will begin with 2 to 3 shops per week, then we will increase this amount as you get acclimated to our requirements and the system. We have some shoppers that complete 2 shops per week, and we have others that complete 10 shops per week. As long as the reports are on time and are up to par in quality, we will bring you up to a level where you feel comfortable.
