I have worked with some mystery shopping. It is really quite fun and exciting. You just have to pay attention to detail and do all they require of you. The only draw back to me is how long you have to wait for payment if they just send checks. I have not had one that does Paypal.

I mystery shop and make a decent amount of money. The key is to establish a relationship with your scheduler and everything else will fall in place.

Hi all! I'm kinda new to WAHM but I'm am new to this mystery shopping topic. After reading all of this great info, I am going to try it! Anyways, I just wanted to tell everyone that I used to be an assistant manager in a retail store and some of our mystery shoppers were easy to spot. We even had some that we thought were shoplifters because they kept staring at us lol. Either way, if you are considering mystery shopping, make sure you don't look obvious, and I'm going to take my own advice. From what other mystery shoppers have told me, you don't want to look "obvious" because then the sales associates will go overboard with the customer service and you will not be able to see how they act naturally. Maybe I should not be giving this advice since I have not mystery shopped yet, but from my experience on the other side of the counter, I just thought I'd put my 2 cents in

That is correct, it is against your ICA (Independent Contractor Agreement) to disclose any information about who you shop and for what company.

HI.. New to this forum..but have MS in the past...its been years since I have done this and am looking to get back into it.. Question: When signing up for a company..how do you know if they have jobs available in your area? Is there a way to check to see if they do business a certain area? I live in Kansas...but am about 30 minutes from OK, and about an hour from MO and AK...I live in a pretty rural area and have to travel anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and half to get to a larger town...where I am sure there would be jobs available... So does anyone know of which companies work in these area's? Thanks |
