Congratulations and no problem! Yes, definitely take your time going through all the info. They have done a great job with the materials to help you get your bearings, and it seems like a great place to work. All the best!

    Hi Johanna,

Thank you so much for the time and effort you put in to write me two messages. I took your advice and sent me samples to Briht Hub. And the good news is, I got accepted for two channels - Cameras and Camcorders, and Career Planning & Development. They have sent me too much of material to read, which is definitely going to take me about 2-3 days.

But, once again I will like to thank you for introducing me to a new website.

    Regards,

    Aunindita

There is also a website called QualityGal which also accepts non-US. But as far as I can tell they are not such a huge website and don't have so much work available. That is only what I have heard though.

So those two and IB are the ones I'm most familiar with at the moment; more opportunities keep popping up though. Keep your eye on freelancewritinggigs.com and ONLINE WRITING JOBS - Freelance Writing Jobs.

The answering-question service ChaCha did not accept US writers when I asked a few months ago, but it sounded like they have plans to accept nonUS writers in the future.

There is also a site called writerfind, and forums called accentuatewriters and absolutewrite. Might find some more leads there as time goes on. The information on the absolutewrite forums has helped me to also feel confident enough to think about attempting some freelancing in print, or other kinds of writing/publishing.

    Good luck!

    Hiya!

BrightHub is one that sounds good. Accepts non- US, and it seems you do not necessarily have to have a degree or lots of experience. - just need to write good quality stuff. I wrote a good pitch and just got accepted there, so when you apply, write the best pitch and sample that you can. It also has a lot of helpful information to help you succeed there.

If you are accepted to write under an Editorial Channel, you have to submit everything under an editor and you will be paid $10 per article. If you write under the other non-editor-managed channels, I think you only get paid a bit of revenue share or something.

    Hi Johanna,

Do you know some upfront article writing sites, which accept non-US residents as well? I am only writing for Internet Brands.

Your help would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks,
