Default Should I get a Mary Kay website?

I have been a Mary Kay consultant for a number of years only purchasing for myself, family and friends. Lately I have become interested in online marketing and am thinking of getting a Mary Kay website. I don't really want to do parties but thought I might be able to make a little extra with the website. I have my own website for my bodywork practice so thought I could refer through that and also with my bodywork clients.

The website is a great advantage especially if you are a star consultant. If you are networking, then most want to go to a website. Irt might pay off after a few orders. I like having my own website as I do not do parties right now either, but when handing out cards, networking, they will see your website. In this day, it looks professional to have a website.

Hi Dianne, I agree with Cecelia in the professionalism aspect of it. I've also heard from others in my unit that people tend to buy more when shopping online vs over email or in person. Also, other consultants have mentioned they have received orders from people they don't know who were searching online. Also, I believe the MK eCards are tied to your website (like, when you pay the fee for the website you get access to the eCards) which are very cool.
