Default Fundraising with Lia Sophia

Has anybody ever done any fundraising with Lia Sophia?

If so, I have a few questions:

For which type of organization (i.e. church, school, etc.)?
What fundraising format did you adopt? (i.e. Did the organization buy some jewlery to raffle it off or did you take individual orders from people?)
What type of contribution did you make (i.e. Did you let the organization keep the entire 30% or did you give them only a portion?)
Did you end up making any $?
Was it a hassle?

Default Fundraising

I've done fundraising for pet shelters, elderly care facitilites, school groups, sports groups, daycares.
I do need their signed letterhead note for my tax deduction later.

The most popular one is to hand them our blue LS bags with 2-3 catalogs each, a ring sizer, order forms, an envelope for payments. Each catalog has the months special on a little label sized paper.
I have done some where I am there to show the jewelry and guests purchase, but not nearly as often as the bags are used to gather up orders.
And I always offer the group $25 each, if they net me bookings...paid when the booking is held.

My % depends on the group..... Generally 65-85% of my profit goes to the group. On rare occassion more or all. That profit is sales minus the cost of catalogs, forms, envelopes, ring sizers etc.
And if I group it all as a Show...I reward the highest sale, most sales, farthest away sale, with a FREE piece or Bonus Buy item.
I try to keep in mind while they are not always big $ earners, they do generate contacts, business in the future and LC prizes =)

Generally I do make money

And I've never felt this to be a hassle.
It is great networking and name recognition for me.

BEST OF SUCCESS if/when you start!
