So just got this email and it says that 'Daniel M' is the top earner for the month with $1,213.30 and 12,151 questions answered. So looking at that he answered about 99% of his answers not using the database which is all fine and good.
BUT then when you look into it even more is where things get a little crazy... He answered almost 392 answers per day. Assuming he worked 12 hours a day that is about 33 answers per hour. I remember clearly in the training there was a limit of 75? hours a week? If they enforced that he could only work 300 hours in Ocotber...thats about 40 answers per hour which would give him about 1.5 minutes per answer. So I'm guessing that they have waived or not enforcing the 75? per month? That still puts Daniel working an outrageous amount of hours? So whats the verdict is this possible? Is KGB promoting people who are 'gaming' the system? Do you think they check Daniel M's work? There was no mention of Daniel M doing reviews just the number of questions answered. |

Maybe they were understaffed and Otto allowed him to work extra? I was often asked to login early and stay late in October.
I'm not sure how people earn that much, but I would assume that if kgb_ is paying out over a grand in a month to one person, they're going to look closely at his activity. If he's gaming, he's awfully good at it. Its not like he's flying under the radar. He's getting noticed, so I'd think he's getting reviewed as well. |

I don't know whether Daniel is a 'gamer' or not, I do know that Daniel has to put in massive amounts of time per month, there is no other way to explain how he could make so much. You would have to do KGB for 10 or 12 hours a day to make that kind of money. I couldn't do it I know that. 3 hours at a time is about my top limit.
But looking at the top 5 earner amounts: 1. 1213.30 2. 1000.40 3. 821.70 4. 678.00 5. 669.14 You can see that only 2 people make over a thousand, only 1 over 800 and then it gets into the more 'realistic' high 600 hundreds. And then you have to wonder how does #5 end up making .14 cents? lol I could see if you did work about 300 hours a month averaging about 2-3 per hour that is a realistic amount to make, but wow 300 hours constantly answering questions at that rate has to be hard mentally? |

I've been thinking the same thing! It's nice to know that someone else is actually thinking about these stats instead of just accepting them as they are! lol. I love math, so I have done the math for the top earners almost every month since I started working for kgb_. And it just doesn't add up. Well first off I have to say that some of the top earners are QAs and sometimes it's not mentioned (I have noticed that). So that's one explanation for some of the top earners. But I have done the math several times and I have come to the conclusion that in order to be a top earner with $1000+ you have to work at least 10-18 hours everyday and make at least $4-8 dollars per hour (at all times, even during the slow times. which I still don't understand. lol). I don't know how they do it, and I have questioned it for the longest. I have asked other agents and they say, "well maybe they worked during night shift", or "maybe they worked during peak hours". But I've been with kgb_ since the beginning of the year and I know that there are only a few peaks per day. And the night shift is not always the greatest. So is it really possible to earn $4-8 dollars all the time at any given time of the day??? I don't think so. Idk if it's even humanly possible to work 10-18 hours EVERYDAY, and answering questions at full speed non-stop. lol. Either the top earners are clever gamers, or they are not just special agents (possibly QA's or OPs), or something fishy is going on here..... lol. Oh, and you can work as many hours a day as you want. So idk the 75 hours per week thing even applies. There are ways to work around that

And another thing....how the heck did number 5 make 14 cents??? lol

I think the obvious answer to the top earners is that more than one person is using the account. It would seem more plausible if each person was doing 8-10 hour shifts each day.

hmm...interesting. I never thought about it that way. I have heard of people letting their girlfriend/boyfriend, spouse, or relative work for them though

I saw someone in the chat room in the Agent's lounge a few weeks ago talking about how him and his brother were logging in and working with the same account. Not at the same time but taking turns. So yeah that is probably how they are doing it.

I never heard of a limit per week, but I know you can only work so many hours in a row, an then you have to log off...but I think for only 15 minutes and then you can come back

is it just me? Am I the only one that gets irritated when people lie in the chatroom about how much they are making in an hour? I try to ignore those people but it's really irritating when people claim that they are making $10+ an hour when it's slow and over 300 agents are logged in. I'm trying to be sympathetic and understand. What is the point in lying? We all do the same thing so we know the truth. I'm just having a hard time understanding the lying process I guess.
