Default Impossible to make payout w/ workflow

Just wanted to vent about the work this week. It looks impossible to make payout with this type of work flow (numeric/date). There have been no long running snippets. I have been literally stalking the site trying to get work. Oh well, guess this is the name of the game. Just disappointed, been making payout since November.

I started last March and this is the worst I have seen it. However, I am inclined to think it is temporary. Just a month or two ago, I made $100+ in one single week ... did that a couple of times. Yes, I worked my buns off but the work was plentiful. So I am inclined to think the good times will return. Disappointing in the meantime, yes.

I know what you mean. Since 1/11/12 the highest I made was $ 0.67. On the 10th I made $ 3.03. I was making payout every 2 weeks (except my vacation). I decided to focus on my writing and MTurk instead for right now. I went on KFC after I made my financial goal today and only made $ 0.32 today.

My payout's tomorrow and I still need to earn $27. There's more work today than I've seen all week but I seriously doubt I'll key that much. I guess that's the way it goes.

MTurk has become my life haha I finally got my boyfriend to look into it because he sees what I'm making.

I do business cards on MTurk on occasion but I am not sure at 2 cents apiece that it is worth it. What do you do on MTurk? Writing? You make good on writing?

The 2 cent ones aren't really worth it. I do the 5 cent business card ones, writing, transcription, surveys and keyword categorization. Anything to make a buck.

For the writing I make $1 for every 150 words, but once you get in the rhythm it only take 5-10 minutes to do each one (depends on research, distractions and writer's block). There's other writing ones I do (like $2 for 250 words) but this is the most consistent.

The transcription I do is mostly for insurance companies, I make $1-2 for about 5-15 minutes of work, depending on the same things as above.

Surveys are fun and can be done while watching TV. I only do ones that pay over $0.75. I don't do any that say they take more than 20 minutes.

For the other stuff I just search throughout the day to see who is giving out tasks I like. I have certain requesters that I look for every day because I like what they're offering. The other day I made $15 in an hour just by giving my opinion on what category I would assume a domain name would be in.

Right now I'm making $20-80 a day only working 4-6 hours a day on there (I'm working on getting less easily distracted and getting a regular office set up so I can work more consistently). The KeyForCash window is usually up in the background. I find that I usually start my day with an hour or so of KeyForCash right after I drop my daughter off at school and if I can find any work, I try to key while watching TV after I put her to bed but before the DH gets home.

Thanks for sharing this! I just discovered MTurk and have been doing the .02 cents business cards and wondering if it was worth it to do 500 to get to .05 cents per card. I also wondered about the $1 articles with 150 words. The titles I looked at I knew nothing about so I wasn't sure if it was worth the research time, but I think I will give them a try because I enjoy writing. I also already do surveys with other websites and have done a couple with MTurk so far. It's encouraging to see that you can earn that much in a day.

I don't do the $0.05 ones from the $0.02 requester, I found a different person that consistently offers $0.05, they post a couple times a day. The 150 word articles took a while for me to warm up to. Honestly, don't over think them and just follow the directions. Don't worry about creating the most stunning content they've ever seen... just spell correctly, make sense and be grammatically correct and they'll accept them. I belong to another forum specifically about MTurk and there's people who make $100 a day or more, almost every day. It's definitely motivation to me!
