Default Worn out keyboard

Has anyone worn out their keyboard doing work for KFC? My keys are starting to be less responsive and some are actually feeling like they are sticky ... as in hesitating. I am thinking I have worn the membrane out and need a new keyboard. Which kind do you all use? I have a Logitech Wave and have loved every minute I type on it. Will get another if this one goes bonkers on me.

I haven't worn out the key strikes, but I definitely have worn off the letters of certain keys from typing on it through KFC.

Michelle, my letters are also rubbed off on some keys. I got a set of fluorescent vinyl letters and placed them on top and they looked great ... but I peeled them off because no matter how I tightly I trimmed them down, I could still feel the edges and it made my fingertips sore.

Nicole, I hope it doesn't happen to your laptop. I am not sure what a person would do in that case.

My daughter has recommended that I not buy a wireless one so I am looking for a wired like the one I currently have. Not sure if I will find one ... most are wireless now.
