Typing info in in the little boxes
I mostly see this in alphnumeric, but does anyone know when you have the snippets inside the individual boxes if you type a space between them?

I treat the box as a space indicator. If it leaves an empty space with the boxes, I put a space, otherwise, I type with no spacing. If it has spacing that I am not sure of, I get out of it because I don't want to get it wrong and have too many errors in my keying.
