Smile Received my invite and a quick question

Received my invite today! So happy Every little bit of income helps.

I do have one question. There's no penalty for skipping the snippets when you're unsure what to type, right? I know that they don't count as paid keystrokes. I just don't want them to think that I make too many errors and end up closing my account because there's so many skips. It was very hard to tell with some of the dollar and cent snippets what should actually be entered. Some of them looked like they could have been 10.00 or 1000.00..does that make sense? Not sure how to explain what I mean. I'm a better safe than sorry kind of person, especially concerning financial information. I hit enter to skip on the things that just weren't clear enough for me to be comfortable with. I hope that's the right thing to do!

Well, thank you so much for the information on this forum. I'm very happy I found out about this opportunity.

hmn..I think I just found the answer on my own..skipping should be very minimal. I think I'm just going to stay away from dollars and cents from now on.

Default can I ask...

What was your percentile?
What are they currently paying?
How long was your wait to get invited?
Like you.... trying to make ends meet and I'm desperately trying to fine work online because I am a mother of two VERY young children.
Any info would help
Thanks.
Emily

You absolutely can ask. My percentile was 97%. I had previously taken the test and ended up with a lower percentile, so do not be afraid to take it more than once if needed. The forum is very helpful, so read over the posts on the evaluation, or any that discuss percentiles and you will find lots of helpful tips that should make it easier for you to get a high score.

Right now they pay .20 for 1000 characters keyed. I received my invitation the next morning after I finally scored 97%. I have noticed a few posts on here this week where others have been hired as well so right now might be a good time for you to apply.

I wish I could give you information about other opportunities, but this is the only thing I've found so far (that works for me personally that is). Again, I'm just getting started with the forum myself, but there's tons of information on here so make sure you look through all of the threads and hopefully you will find plenty of other opportunities as well!

Good luck!

Hi Dfly,

Just an FYI, it's actually .20 cents per every 1,000 keystrokes that are typed correctly & are confirmed by KFC. So, 10,000 keystrokes/characters = $2.00

ETA -- How I WISH it was .20 per every keystroke. We would make a fortune. Then 10,000 would be $20 an hour and that would be fantabulous. LOL!!!!!!!!! (wishful thinking though)

No problem and you're welcome. Just didn't want anyone wanting to join to get too excited in thinking you could make $20 an hour. LOL!!!

I think timing might be everything on this. I'm sure that you will eventually hear from them regarding the test that you took a couple of weeks ago..if not very soon, but I think it might not hurt to retest because it seems that a lot of people that tested this week are getting invitations. That's totally up to you though because I would hate for you to take it and have the score come down. My score was 97%. You do mean the overall score, right? You didn't miss a section, or anything like that? I just ask because I was confused on my first test and thought I had a way higher overall score than I did. The last test went really well. I think I just needed to get the hang of it.

At any rate, I hope you hear something soon! Good luck!!
