Default Lost keystrokes

This just happened to me

I was in Dates (had been there for some time) when i looked at my Session keystrokes it read 3002, with 0 unconfirmed keystrokes. The Session total was around 30 cents..... it should have been 1.20 so this stopped me and i decided to leave this session and go into another and see what happened. So I went in to numeric next and when it open it showed me at just 880 keystrokes with 0 unconfirmed keystrokes........so they dropped just over 2100 keystrokes. I don't know that i've every had that happen before and am not sure what to do about it. Any ideals on what to do now.... I don't like having to watch my totals because i key fast and look at what i'm working on. Having to watch every keystroke will slow me down and i'll make less money..... HELP

The most likely reason you got paid 30 cents for 3000 keystrokes in dates is for keying exp: "march 2010" instead of skipping it.

In dates you key Month & Day or Month/Day/Year but not Month/Year. I refuse to key dates lately because 75% of the work is month/year and is to be skipped. It is just not profitable.

I agree with 72pony, don't key anything that doesn't fit those 2 formats. Anything that says June 2010, APR MAY JUNE 2010 or June, I just skip, because the directions at the top say to only key it 1 of 2 ways mm/dd or mm/dd/yyyy. So, if you picked up any dates that couldn't be keyed in those 2 ways, then you probably didn't get paid for it.

The same thing happened to me yesterday. I didn't get credited for over 800 keystrokes and I only did the month/day/year and month/day ones. I skipped all the month/year snippets. I logged out to see if they would eventually confirm because I had over 1200 unconfirmed. I don't know what happened, I was very frustrated!! I haven't gone into dates since.

Oh, sorry to hear that. Probably best then to just skip the date work type then. That stinks big time.

thinks for all the in put..... it is frustrating to wk hard and have them take that work away from you. Like i said all the work was confirmed and when i went into a different area thats when they took away over 2000 keystrokes. I know it's only a little over .80 cents but that adds up over time if it happens over and over again.
