Red face Dates

Question about dates. I don't go in here because i never know if i'm doing them right. Your suppose to entry mmddyyyy ok i get that but now they have snippets that read jan feb mar 2010..... I don't know how to entry that, would it be 0102032010? I don't want to entry them wrong and get punished because it is unclear what they want you to do.

They only give 2 examples of how to enter dates, so if I don't see a way to type the date either of those ways, I just skip over it.

Ex: they say to type the date in these 2 formats. mmddyyyy, or mmdd

So, when I see Jun 1, 2010 - I type in 06012010

If I see Jun 1 - I type in 0601

If I see June 2010 - I skip
or June, May, 2010 - skip
or June
or 2010 - skip, etc.

Because these dates don't fit what they say they want. They don't say that you can input the month & year only, or multiple months and a year or just the month, or just the year or just the day by themselves. They need to be more specific, if they want these instances captured. That's my take on it.

I used to not do dates either, because they didn't always have these two examples. But now I just follow the 2 examples given, if anything else is given, I just skip it. They don't specify how they want these done, so I don't attempt to figure out how they want it. LOL!!!

I sent them an email the other day inquiring about the ones that state it like this:

June 21 2010

and the correct way to enter them is exactly the way that Lady is doing it according to the email I received back.

06212010

I have not emailed about the others because they do not make sense as far as dates are concerned so I also skip those like Lady does.
