Checking Out Jewelry Companies

I have recently stopped selling for another MLM jewelry company. I truly believed that their prices were getting too high.

I am now in the process of researching other companies. I came across a Just Jewelry website and the jewelry is cute. I would love it if some of the consultants here could give me an idea of how much they love working for the company.

1. What are the typical sales at a party?

2. Do you have a quota quarterly to stay active?

3. Can you sell from a table or do you HAVE to have shows?

4. In order to get started, do you have to have so many shows lined up or can you just sell on your own at fairs and events?

5. When you have a party to you submit all of the money to the company and they send you a check or you just submit the amount required to pay for the jewelry?

6. Any consultants in the Detroit, Michigan area?

7. Do you have yearly conferences and if so, where?

8. Do you have regional training as well?

9. Is there a "backoffice" with training?

10. What kind of guarantee is there on the jewelry?

11. Once a show order is placed, how long does it take to ship out?

12. Are show orders sent to the hostess or consultant? Can they be sent to individual buyers and what is the shipping costs?

13. Not trying to be funny but I have a lot of friends in the corporate world etc., How is the jewelry made? Many people ask if it is electroplated with rhodium, stainless steel etc.?

14. Any men jewelry? I would make my husband advertise for me, LOL.

Thanks for answering all of my questions--though many. Just to be honest with you, I am checking into Latasia as well. I used to sell Lia Sophia and it seems that their jewelry is similar.

When I stumbled upon Just Jewelry in the summer of 2009 I knew the company was right for me.....the foundation, missions and PRICE were the answer I had been looking for. 1. What are the typical sales at a party? - My average is $500 at home parties, giving me a profit of $250, minus expenses of around $30-$40 (hostess benefits, catalogs, etc.)

2. Do you have a quota quarterly to stay active? No. Only a yearly renewal fee of $79 to stay active.

3. Can you sell from a table or do you HAVE to have shows? - You do not have to have shows. With Just Jewelry you can sell from your own inventory, you can do catalog shows, you can sell at vendor events, in shops, at personal open houses, fundraisers, etc.

4. In order to get started, do you have to have so many shows lined up or can you just sell on your own at fairs and events? - You are free to start selling in any way you want from the very beginning. Although, it is always a good idea to have some events on your calendar as soon as you get started. Fairs are a great way to get the word out that you are bringing this product line to your area.

5. When you have a party to you submit all of the money to the company and they send you a check or you just submit the amount required to pay for the jewelry? - You pay your cost for the jewelry and keep the profit at the time of the sale. NO waiting for a check back from the company.

6. Any consultants in the Detroit, Michigan area? - The consultant locator shows the closest JJ rep is 93 miles from Detroit. There could be consultants in the area but just may not have met the requirements for being included in the zip code search. Although there is plenty of room for business with less than 2500 consultants total in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico!!

7. Do you have yearly conferences and if so, where? - Yes, we have the company wide seminar in August at Cincinnatti, OH.

8. Do you have regional training as well? - Yes, for the spring catalog launch we have regional events all over the country. My National Sales Director also has hosted a regional training event that was well attended and great training.

9. Is there a "backoffice" with training? - Yes! We have tons of videos and documents in the backoffice!!

10. What kind of guarantee is there on the jewelry? - The company has a 90 day guarantee against manufacturer defects.

11. Once a show order is placed, how long does it take to ship out? - Consultant orders are shipped within 48 hours. It appears Detroit is in a 1 day shipping area which means if you place an order before 5 EST on a Monday, you could expect your order to arrive on Thursday via UPS.

12. Are show orders sent to the hostess or consultant? Can they be sent to individual buyers and what is the shipping costs? - Consultant. Shipping cost is $12 but if ordering only a few items there is another option for shipping that is just $5.95.

13. Not trying to be funny but I have a lot of friends in the corporate world etc., How is the jewelry made? Many people ask if it is electroplated with rhodium, stainless steel etc.? - Our jewelry is made with a gold, silver, rhodium, gold, silver, hematite and gunmetal plating. We also use natural stones, shells and glass.

14. Any men jewelry? I would make my husband advertise for me, LOL. - We have some great men's items. Watches, bracelets and cuff links.

And to answer your question: I couldn't imagine NOT representing Just Jewelry. I love the fun styles, the prices (I couldn't sell it if it wasn't in my own budget) and the founders' hearts of gold.

When I first joined JJ I didn't even think about building a team, just needed some extra income and a flexible schedule. Then I gained such confidence and really blossomed as a woman and business person. When I realized how much this had meant to me, I couldn't help but share it with others so they didn't miss out on the opportunity! It didn't take me long to build a team and now have members all over the country. I've made some amazing friends and met some truly inspirational people that I would never had come into contact with if it weren't for my business.

And as you know, it's easy to market your company when you can wear your product everywhere you go!! So yes, I do love Just Jewelry....the company, the business, the income and the stylish and affordable jewelry!!
