Default Waiting for storm to pass

I saw this quote today

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain. May you dance well."
-Author Unknown

and it made me think. How often do I say...

I'll do that when...

I've lost those 20 pounds
My daughter goes to Kindergarten
Once I have saved up enough money
After I clean up my office
etc etc etc

Take a look at what you are being offered and if is something that you WANT, then make a decision to do it now.

Love the post. I agree, we have to do the things we want to now. Not when we get______ because it almost seems like that day never comes.

I try my best to be happy and have fun in the storm. Not after it passes because sometimes it seems like it's never pass. You gotta dance today.

Yes, I agree--many people tend to live in a future-tense, so to speak. When I do this, or when I get that...
It is all very fleeting to be in that mode or stake a claim in a more perfect, yet ever elusive future. We can really miss out on enjoying the now ...

Cheers to all.

That quote is over my computer. I've thought about it often over the past few years. I printed it out a while back and attached pictures of both of my kids when they were less than 6 months old. I think it's a great quote.
