Question At my wit's end

I have been a sahm for 8 years now. Our youngest just started Kindergarten this year. Not even that I want but I desperately need to go back to work. We have been struggling the last few years. Now it is to the point where the second income is an absolute. I have tried numerous online postings only to discover they were scams before investing anything. I have incredible experience as a CSR, data entry and clerical work. I just can't figure out where to start looking and without getting scammed. Please could someone help point me in the right direction. I hate to go out and get a job where my daughter will have to get off and on the bus at a stranger's home

I am so sorry you've been scammed.

I can't really help with home jobs, but you may want to look at a part time job with the school system. The hours are great and you're off the same days your kids are (depending on the position). I've been doing this for 7 years and it works out great. It's also nice to get out of the house. The rest of the time I continue to build and enjoy the successes of my home business.

Good luck with your search and do keep us posted.

I don't blame you for wanting to find something legit. They are out there and I have heard a great place to start is the telecommuting folder. But if you have experience in the fields you mentioned try and find something more in the line of those if possible, unfortunately "data entry" seems to be the one online field that people think will be easy to find jobs and yet they have the most scams out there. Try joining MOM Pack (a yahoo group). I have seen people ask for VAs on there too.

Arrow Work at home SCAMS

Greetings,

I feel your pain! Back when I had my daughter I spent 3 years looking for 'home work' and tried things like envelope stuffing, date entry and medical transcription.

There is a fine line and many companies out there are out for YOUR buck.

I settled on being my own boss

Good luck on your search!
