I wish meetup.com was better in my area. There isn't much on there. I think groups are good, I'm not really into paying for them.

How do others feel about that?

I used to be a member of a meetup group. It was $12 for the year. I didnt mind paying as I felt I was contributing to her maintaining the fees for meetup. Plus when we meet up at her house, she was providing most of the meals.

There are alot of ways you can increase your leads. Vendor events mentioned above is a great way! You can also use the internet... the worldwide web lets you attract alot more people than just around your hometown. There are so many places online you can advertise or you can start your own blog or online store. The main thing is don't get discouraged or give up. Find others successful and see or ask what they've done to get where they are. This is a great forum to learn new things from others who have been where you are.

I use alot of the suggestions many of you ladies have posted for my bcharmed business. Right now all coming up I have 2 parties on the calendar and 4 vendor events as well. So I have to say I'm pretty happy right now with bcharmed. I'm out of a few pieces so I do have to place an order into bcharmed because I sold some jewelry as "cash & carry" recently. I like to keep the real popular designs on hand.
