Well, I joined Jewel Kade! I just kept going back to the website and thinking how much I liked the jewelry, how it has a wide appeal, handmade in US and it is so different! So I made the leap! Wish me luck!

I am still in, but putting off joining because I have an opportunity to go on a very special trip and my sponsor and I have decided it's best that I wait for my return so I can make the most of my business debut and start up. I am taking my catalog and information with me on the airplane so I can "dream" while I am gone! And of course taking my jewelry that I already own too! Can't wait to join you gals!

And after I just replied in the other thread...I see you've joined JK! Hope your business is taking off!

Congrats, Rachel! Best wishes to you and get those parties booked and keep them going. My friend who's with JK is a Ruby and still has to do a lot of parties per month to earn from her team but she loves to party so if you love to host parties and don't mind asking people to host parties - JK is going to rock for you. Love the jewelry

Just curious, is it hard to sell jewlery in a bad economy like ours? Since jewlery is considered more of a luxury item...

It's not so much that it's a bad economy because women still buy jewelry and these aren't as expensive as others i.e. Stella and Dot or Lia Sophia but it's about having enough people to sell to which is always the challenge with a party plan because you can't make money in a party plan without doing parties. You need to do a lot of hustling to network, meeting new people locally, ASK everyone if they're willing to host in exchange for free products, do vendor boutiques, catalog orders. If you're not willing to do these things in a party plan it's very difficult to stay in the business. I love jewelry and fashion but I'm not a party person, not passionate enough to get out and keep asking people to host
