Generally speaking, there are only 4 things that would cause a skin care product to "burn".
1. Your skin is extremely dehydrated. If that is the case, even if you aren't using the proper hydrating line, a weeks worth of use of a decent product (which Jafra is) would end the sting. 2. Fragrances. Some perfumes are just irritating to some people. 3. Allergies. This is actually VERY uncommon. Most people who claim their skin cannot tolerate anything are simply using the wrong product for their skin type. You can be dehydrated but still have oily skin, etc. 4. Poor ingredients. This is not the case with most of the lines represented on this board, including Jafra. This is more geared towards what you might find on the shelf at your local Wal-Mart. |

Your answers were very nicely handled EstyGirl. I think that it comes back to the tools we have to help our clients. Knowledge, experience and in the case of the Jafra product line, our online skin profile.
The more we know the more we can help our clients get the right products for their skin care needs. I've had several people tell me what they think their skin care needs are and after using the profile, we find that they need something different. The body is an amazing thing. It tells us what it needs, we just don't always hear. Thanks, Carla Spurgeon Jafra Skin Care Specialist |
