I know this is kind of a different topic, but I decided to try to grow my own herbs this year. The problem I had was that all I could find were mixed seed packets so now I have three pots of herbs growing on my deck and I have to figure out what is what.

Does anyone know of a good website with photos and tips?

My neighbor grows 'herbs' in his basement. It's not the kind of herb you pick up in a multi-seed packet, if you kwim

Here's a site that has a list of herbs and single photos. HTH!

Julie-I grow lots of herbs & I actually tell which is which sometimes by smell! If you rub the leaves you can tell-especially if you have dried herbs in your pantry like oregano (for pizza), basil, etc. If you need any help w/your herbs let me know.

www.gardenweb.com has tons of great info. You can look plants up on their search engine and they also have discussion forums where you can get answers to just about any question you can think of. Good luck!
