Default My 2 year old eats his Asparagus and Brocolli first!

I find it awesome and funny and a little odd...but my just turned 2 year old LOVES veggies and fruit! When given his dinner of tortellini, asparagus, and broccoli, eat eats the veggies first! What did your 2 year old eat today, LOL

I finally got the grandsons eating fruit WITH the peel included by turning it into a frozen smoothie. (no added sugar)

Hurray!

LOL, he cracks me up! He shoves asparagus in his mouth by the fistful!
That is a great idea Bonnie! I give mine smoothies too! I even put avocado and spinach in the smoothie (you can't taste the green stuff) and they both love it! It is a great way to get in their veggies and fruit

When he isn't in the mood to eat much, I just whip him up a fresh smoothie and he goes to town!

sorry but that made me laugh...my oldest 2 are now 9 and 11 and let me just tell you, they'll more than likely change.

They used to love many veggies at 1, 2 and even 3 but now it's a major struggle to get them to eat more veggies and fruits, especially with my son. MAJOR issue

so
Enjoy it while it lasts.

Reminded me of something I wrote in my first sons baby book..when he was 9 months old, I wrote VERY BIG and with tons of exclamation points " You finally sleep through the night!"
and then he didn't sleep through the night again until he was over 4. yes, FOUR!

That's great! My children LOVE veggies and fruit. But I will say that my 21 month old baby girl is a like a human garbage disposal, so Im not sure if that even counts. Lol.
