Sadly no - we never go out for New Years, even before we had kids we only went out once. We don't even let the kids stay up - I'll bet I'll be on the computer working and probably won't even notice when the clock rolls over. Such an exciting bunch over here!

We do make noises in New Year's Eve but we don't drink alcoholic beverages. Some fireworks will do.

I'm going out with my sis and some friends, but we are staying pretty local and won't go far.

We stay home..I am not a late night person...I am on the west coast and when my kids where little I would turn on the tv to an east coast channel and let them watch the ball drop at 9pm our time and they would think it was the new year and go to bed...LOL they are teenagers and laugh about it now ...)

Actually it would be nice to go out for this night.
And to meet our friends at the street and have some fun there with kids.... Well I will definitely go out this year!

I'm not a late night person either any more. A couple times we had New Years Eve parties & celebrated the new year when NY did - 3 hours before "our" midnight. We served champagne & non-alcoholic brews at the NY midnight, and we had great fun. No one got drunk or went home drunk (no liquor except the one "midnight" toast).

This year, I doubt I'll even be awake at midnight.

2011 has been a good year, but I'm really looking forward to 2012. Lots of new & exciting things are coming personally & professionally!
