The day before Thanksgiving I found a North American tree frog on my front porch. We took him in and set him up in the empty aquarium because he should be in hibernation and we didn't want him to die. Well this morning I was informed that he got out day ago and no one knows where he went to! I pray to God that the cat doesn't find him or someone steps on him.

Does he ribbit? O is he already asleep? Bonnie |

He has been quiet since we brought him in. He has sticky feet so he was just hanging out on the branch we put in the aquarium or on the side of the tank. Lord only know where he is now.

I hope you dont have pets that will eat him (LOL) We have 2 tree frogs hubby found them as he was unloading a truck from Missouri they were stuck to the iron. (hubby is a Chicago iron worker)
We have had them now about 2 years I think hubby likes them more then the kiddos do.. They are his pets. He goes to the pet store every other day for fresh crickets (LOL) whatever..

I hope he shows up. I imagine the frog headed for somewhere dark and damp. Do you have a basement?

LOL too funny
You'll find him when he wants you to more than likely

Well, at least a North American Tree Frog is better than a South American Poison Dart Frog.
Got to look on the bright side.

Yes this is definitely better than a south american poison dart frog, too funny! Still searching, but it is kind of a big house for such a small critter to be lost in. I wish he would make some noise or something.

When you will find the frog try to keep it in your house like a pet.
I have an information that frogs are good cockroaches hunters and if you can't get rid of them. ![]() Sure it doesn't mean that you have problems with cockroaches, but.... |
