Hi there! I am new to the website and I am looking for a real way to make money from my home. I have a 19 month old daughter and am struggling with my own freelance portrait/photography business and after a few months out of work because of back surgery, my husband has just returned to work and we need a little help making ends meet.
I would appreciate it so much if anyone could help me out with understand the WAH methods and trusted websites.
Everything I seem to get interested in, I am afraid it is a scam.
I have read about listing on ebay, and telemarketing, and data entry.. can anyone tell me some of their advice in these areas and where I could make a decent profit?

I am a freelane writer and could explain a few things about it, if you are interested. No money out of pocket, only money in pocket!

Things will get better and there are LOTS of great people here to help you find what is right for you.

I am definitely interested in any kind of information anyone can give me. I am very good with writing and design. I don't mind telephone jobs, but I have southern accent and I don't find it admirable via telphone. LOL. I am looking for something that I can choose my own hours and I dont have to pay anything up front. I am not looking for a get rich quick type thing, just something to help me pay the bills... but the more the better ;]

And also, I make hair-bows at home, and I have been looking into making candles, jewelry and lotions, etc. I also have my own small photography business, and any way I can make more money with any of that.. I am all ears. Thanks.

I guess my question to you would be what are you really looking for in terms of work? Are you looking for something full time part time? There are many ways you can go about but what you really said earlier about scams being out there you are absolutely right and have to be very careful. Welcome to WAHM! I am sure that you will find something here that is right for you. You mentioned wanting to be able to set your own hours. That is exactly why I choose affiliate marketing. I work it when and how I want to. I am doing very well with it.

I like the daily pay that my particular company offers. Some newbies tend to shy away from affiliate marketing, thinking that there is a big learning curve to it. It doesn't have to be that way, it can depend on what your niche is, and how you choose to market it. I just post ads online ever day... not glamorous, and sometimes boring, but it is working for me.
