I am 12 weeks with baby number three and I started showing around 10 weeks. Maternity pants are too big, and my regular pants are too small to rig with a ponytail! (I could do that with 1 and 2). But I am definately showing!

Thanks, Laura! I thought about yarn once, but I was worried, one wrong move and it would snap!

With my first, I started to show a bit at about 4.5 months, but I didn't HAVE to wear maternity pants for another month...I was also 17...my #2...I started to pooch out a bit at around 2.5 months, and had to switch over to maternity pants at about 4 months...at the rate I'm going, I should start wearing maternity pants now, before we get preggers with #3

I didn't start showing till I was 5 months pregant, I couldn't wear Maternity clothes till I was 7 months pregnant.

I would buy dress pants that had elastic with no zipper, I found them at stores like at Lerner, I don't know if other states have them. I would also buy skirts with elastic as well.

My two little ones are only 11.5 mos apart. So to be honest, the whole time was pretty much a blur and I was happy just to remember to get dressed at all

well i'm pregnant with #3 and started showing pretty quick....I found these really cool things called Belly Belts. They sell them at Motherhood Maternity, if there is one where you live. It is an elastic piece that hooks onto your pants and has a piece of material to cover where your pants don't close...I wore my regular jeans for a long time...now I'm into my 8th month and there is no way...lol..but I used those elastic things for a long time and it was so much more comfortable.

I was close to 6 months along when I really started to show, and that's when I needed to wear maternity clothes. It seemed like my belly just popped out overnight.

Baby #1: Around 3-4 months I started showing. I gained like 65 pounds total, but had major swelling/water gain.

Baby #2: No one even knew I was pregnant until I told them at 5 months. I gained about 45 pounds if I remember right.

Baby #3: I think it was around 6 months before I really started 'showing'. I only gained 35 pounds total and baby weighed 9 lb. 15 oz.

Never really got rid of the baby weight from #3though, and for Baby #4 (I am 10 weeks pregnant now) I am starting out the heaviest I've ever been. I've hurt my back and been on bedrest for the past 6 weeks, on medication that's made me ill, and on top of that I am having horrible morning sickness 24 hours a day. The only thing that even sounds good to eat is bean burritos from Taco Bell. Ugh! They've already told me they would take the baby early since my last one was so big, so maybe I won't get too huge at the end this time.
