Default Anyone have a Chevy Cobalt?

My daughter will be in need of a vehicle and have been looking at the Chevy Cobalt. Please let me know your thoughts, experiences with this vehicle.

Any other thoughts on a first car for a teen (American product only please). We are factoring in something reliable (in snow as well) and affordable for a teen who works part time.

TIA!

The cobalts, cavaliers, sunfires, and etc all are lower quality. They even feel cheap on the inside. All plastic pieces on the inside. It seems like a Ford Focus might be a better choice.

However, they are smaller cars with 4 cyclinder engines and can last for awhile.

They do not feel cheap the inside ia made out of the same materials as the ford focus. I don't know about all Ford's but my husbands cousin for years wanted a Ford truck well he got a good job and bought on 40,000 he has that truck in and out of the dealership for various reasons since about a month after he bought it and now the warranty is out and still having problems. I just know he said he would never buy another Ford and he wished he didn't have that one.

They are really nice. My advice to you is keep away from used vehs. If your not going for brand new vehicles, at least try to get a certified used veh. And be 100% informed about the warranties of the veh. You cant be too sure with salespeople nowadays. I used to work for a car company, that's why i know.
