How To: Edit/Add To Your Signature

I have noticed the same things but found out that sometimes it lets you have long lines but when you edit, it won't let you keep the long lines... go figure.

First you need to click on User CP
Then Edit Signature

In the first block, you can add your info, name, blogs, business links etc. You don't have to code them like you did on the old boards, you just highlight and then use the icons , B, I, U etc.

If you want to add a banner or button to your signature, then you have to scroll down to where it says Signature Picture

There are 2 options, one is to add the direct link if you have it hosted somewhere or you can upload it from your hard drive.

Once you have it uploaded or linked, then you need to click on "Insert Picture Link" this is in PINK. Then you can select Preview to make sure it's there and then Save Signature.

Then when you go to the board, it should be there! Hope this helps those that are confused.

hey there I know I'm not Bama but thought I would chime in here new people to the boards have to have 30 or 31 posts be 4 your sig line will show up.

Hi, I will be able to ad a link to my signature soon. I notice a wide range of ways to do this.

Any tips on this topic.?

Some people have up to 5 links? Is this too many ?

Is this the place to have Freebies ?

I clicked on user cp and i looked up and down numerous times and could not see a link to edit my signature. is there some kind of a minimum number of postings you can make before you can add a signature?

I am new to this forum.. and actually this is only the second forum I've signed up with.. Unfortunately I find it a bit confusing..

I created a signature, but I'm like you, it has now disappeared from my 'cp'.. Then I saw someone post that your signature doesn't show up till 30-31 posts.. and yet I saw someone else with 4 posts and a signature..

I also uploaded a pix to my profile but it doesn't show up when I post.

Hmm.. go figure

thats because often there are limitations of 5 lines or so for signatures...look it must have a limitation too..that is why you cannot do it
