I've added a new folder for those of you who would like to discuss
relationship issues but don't want to post (understandably) on the
general forum.

If you would like access to this folder, let me know and I will add you
to the group. As far as I can tell, a user can only be a member of one
group, so if you have access to the texting folder, you can't be in the
relationship group as well. I'm looking around to see if there's a way
around that.

Keep in mind that although the posts in the new folder cannot be viewed
by someone who doesn't have access, I have no way of knowing who people
are when they request access. So, for example, someone's abusive
husband could theoretically register here as "susie" or whatever and
then request access and read all the posts. Or if someone has access to
your computer they could login in as you and read everything as well.
Maybe not likely, but you never know. I don't think that the posts in
private folders can be searched through Google or search engines -- so
far that seems to be the case.

So send me a PM if you want access and let me know if you have any questions or suggestions

Cheryl- I think that is great! I know there are women who need someone to talk to, but who are embarrassed or afraid to say anything publically.

Hi Cheryl,

I would like to suggest you make this a "sticky" post so it doesn't get buried. It sounds like a great resource.

Sounds like a great idea. I have been lucky to never encounter this myself but have had family that has... I am here to talk if anyone needs someone to listen. I am actually looking into becoming a relationship coach... this would be great for me to get some experience and I love to help whenever I can. Nobody should ever have to face something like this alone.

As someone who was in an abusive relationship I think this is a wonderful idea. Thank you Cheryl.
