That's great! It's nice to see one of the most trusted brands, Johnson and Johnson on the list as one of the best green companies!

Please read thru this thread. They are NOT one of the best green companies. Please educate yourself. Go to www.cosmeticdatabase.com and do some research.

Since the election is coming up, one person running for house district hereis actually using less signs and advertising by way of GreenBeeBag - I think it's what they are. They are actually really great bags to use for grocery shopping, etc and they come in all kinds of colors. We got ours on our door handle, but they are available online too.

Great ideas, Vitamin G...

In addition here is research taken from a reputable 50-year-old green company's web site.

To find out what's lurking on your shelves, go to the National Institutes of Health Library of Medicine Household Products Database.

http://www.householdproducts.nlm.nih.gov/

You can search almost any brand of cleaner you use, find out what's in it, and uncover its links to health effects. Or search by chemical ingredients (see list below for some examples) and discover what brands contain it.

The information may shock you.

Chemical ingredients to look out for:

Sodium Hydroxide
Hydrochloric acid
Butyl cellosolve (2-Butoxyethanol)
Formaldehyde
Bleach (sodium hypochlorite)
Ammonia
Sulfamic Acid
Petroleum distillates
Sulfuric acid
Lye (potassium hydroxide)
Morpholine

This is great. I want to make the green choices, but as a working, single mother I don't always have the time to do the product research. Thank for putting it all at my finger tips.
Thanks
Linda

I did not see anything about Shaklee in the green companies. It is my understanding they are #1 in the USA.
