I'm so glad I could help you! I'm going green too and I'm so excited to do it. I've heard so many disturbing science about the chemicals in the average home it scares me to death! Time to get healthy!!

I actually have a green blog (it's a pretty long name) and I have a green "newsletter" that goes out. It's called going green on every budget. Some people don't realize there are things we can do that are free and low cost. On the other hand there are those who are able to do more. I spend a lot of time researching for the newsletter also.

I think it is great that so many people are aware of this now. It has made a huge different with my kid's health! My 5 year old took 3 to 4 allergy medicines since he was around 3 months old and is now down to one. That is just from switching cleaners. </font>

Ditto. I was floored when I saw those three on the list. Seriously? What happened to responsible journalism? Guess we know who paid for that article, eh? Makes me sad.

If you want to see how your products measure up, just go to the EWG's Skin Deep Website (no, i'm not affliated)... It was SUCH an eye opener. Just type in whatever product you want to see. It's quite fascinating.

KDMamma,
You are right. That is such an excellent website!! You can find so much information. I couldn't believe all the information I found just after doing a little research. My original corporate job was with a major homebuilder here in Texas. We went "green built"at the beginning of the year and that is really what got me to thinking!!! You can't just build a "green" home. Everything inside need to be "green" as well! Knowing that my kids are safe from harmful toxins, I can sleep easier at night! I hope more people start doing their research.
If you are working in the "Green" industry, everyone needs us! Get out there and share your story!!!
Good luck and hope everyone has a "Green" weekend!!!
Jessie
