I could see that happening....possibly....

That is very Sad...

What other things are you doing Cheryl? Curious.

That's my question, also. In the FAQs it said you would be here the next few months and that makes it sound like you won't be here indefinitely. I'm sort of mixed about it right now. I haven't been here that long but I really like the feel of WAHM.com. I hope it doesn't change too much.Edited by: Joss

I'll be here still working on the site for a few months, doing what I do now. And after that I will be a regular member, like you all.
I'll still post and stuff.

My youngest daughter is starting high school next year and my oldest is a Junior in college, so the timing just seemed right.

I'm loving my new stand-up "career" and I'll be able to devote more time to that now too.

I wouldn't be worried about changes. IB isn't going to fix something that isn't broken. KWIM?

Yes, I started doing stand-up comedy last year and was on Nick-at-Nite's "Search for the Funniest Mom in America" (for like, five seconds).

Congrats on selling the site. I am sure we can all adjust to new ownership.

Cheryl, I'm really happy for you. It's definitely a strange thought though, you not being the owner anymore.

JAF - Good point!! She still has at least 14 min, 55 sec coming to her.

Wow, what a shocker! I, too have mixed feelings.
This place won't be the same without you running it, tho.

I feel sad actually....but understand all the same. Family comes first and we all need to do what we need to do.

A lot of us will miss you.

This is like a home to a lot of us. Hope no major change, changes the feeling and toneto the site. Hope it always feels like home.

Best wishes and prayers for your stand up career. Keep us posted on how that goes Would love to see you on the tv more often.

Maybe you will even end up on a sitcom one of these days Forget reality tv....we need more relaxing sitcoms on the air.....maybe you can star on one someday.
