Default Should I go for Long Term Care Health Insurance Coverage?

I am in my twenties. Would it be advisable for me to go for Long Term Health Insurance Coverage?

Well why do you want to go for it at very young age? Any particular reason behind it?

I got two reasons, one i heard you have to pay less premium when you are young. Two from what i read it seems like it provides more benefits

According to this article, I found on

www dot long-term-care-insurance-planners dot com

It seems like it is a good idea to buy it at younger age as premium is less. You can read more about it on its website.

With LTC and any insurance for that matter it's not only about the premium. As this is an open messge board and there is no way to know what your financial situation is or what savings/investments plan is in place it's not easy to say if a LTC policuy is warrented. If a LTC policy is a consideration speak with a licensed agent who can advise you. (Licensed to do business in your state)

Not unless you think you are going to need it soon. At least in Indiana the age the industry markets at is in their 40-50. Some of the companies will not ever give a person so young a policy. At this point in your live you need to be putting your money in your 401k, a ROTH IRA, and look into getting a good whole life policy.

Don't adopt any insurance for more than 5 years as too much long coverage is not that good. Also, do not adopt the plan as if you are looking for them for just formality. Look for some of them whcih are highly beneficial...
