does anyone use apps in conjunction with homeschooling what apps do you use

Oh, yes, indeed! But it's easy for me because my kids are kindergarten and preschool. We have money counting, math apps, letter sounds, patterns, spelling, etc. They don't replace his workbooks, of course, but a fun supplement that we can take anywhere.

We don't use apps, mainly because the websites that we use are better than any apps I have seen and they can still use them on our tablets. Website that we use include ReadingEggs, ClickNRead/Spell, SmartTutor, Time4Learning, BrainPOP and Starfall.

If I don't get some kind of wireless internet that we can all connect to on the road, then I may look into some apps for our next vacation, since we won't have internet access during most of the drive (except at hotels.)

We use a lot of math fact apps like Math Bingo and Bubble Math. I also have some science apps that are really good. Apps are great for things like the human body.
