Default Homeschooling middle children

Hello everyone! I have been tossing the idea around about homeschooling one of my children. We have 3 boys 8, 6 and 3. The 2 older ones go to a private school. Since money is somewhat tight these days, I have considered only enrolling my 8 year old at the school and homeschooling my 6 year old who will be going into 1st grade next school year. He is a typical middle child who, even though we make every effort to show him how special he is and how loved he is, he still has an inferiority complex! When thinking about homeschooling it came to me that homeschooling might be the best thing for him since he seems to need that one on one time more than the others. Any thoughts or ideas? Thank you!
