We will be moving to Texas next summer and I will be homeschooling my 9 & 10 year old girls so I'm looking for a place to start. Just winging it with a bunch of books is not my style. I definitely need some type of structured program to follow to make sure my kids education does not suffer.
My main concern is the amount of work required. I really don't want my kids strapped to the puter 8 hours a day. If they continue thru graduation, will they get a diploma? If so, what will it say on it? Also, I noticed that the curriculum will be offered thru Texas Virtual Academy Southwest. Is this an actual public school that my girls can attend if they decide to go back to school for a while? Thanks a bunch, Adrianne
