Default help with findng a good at home job

I just recently lost my job and I am looking for a good work at home job. I'm not able to return to work because my son was diagnosed with ADHD and ODD. I kept getting phone calls from his school about his behavior. It was so bad I was going in almost every day to talk to his teacher, principal and counselor about his behavior. We have finally set up appts to get him on medication and to meet w/ behavior specialists. Where can I get job whereI dont have to pay for, can work at home and pays decently.

Hi there, I am sorry to hear about you losing your job. You have come to the right place, this forum is a great place to find many others who could direct you to finding some type of work. May I ask, what was you previous job? Maybe you could start looking in the telecommute folder. I am a mother of a son who has ADHD, so I understand your challenges with this. I could give you further information on what I am doing for him, I am happy to help. I am working with a health and wellness company that provides many solutions for people, please let me know if I can be of any assistance. Take care.

Yone

Losing a job can be very frustrating. I've been with that and I'm thinking it's the end of all. It was then when I'm not yet into online job since computer course is not my field but health.

I hope you will find soon. Why not go to other threads? I think there are WAHMs here looking for VAs, writers and etc.

I'll pray for you for that problem.

djs_rosaliesmommy ~

Sorry to hear about the loss of your job!

Having been through that a few times in my life over the last few years, I know a thing or two about what you're going through!

When it comes to finding a good online job that pays well, I'm sure you're going to get your share of recommendations and/or suggestions from others here on WAHM...

HOWEVER

That being said, the best work at home opportunity you're going to find that pays well will be based on what skills YOU HAVE and how to best utilize them in order to make money from home!

For example, if you have skills in areas such as:

Web Design
Marketing
Writing/Sales Copy
Customer Service
Etc., Etc.,

you could outsource your skills on sites such as:

Freelancer.com
Guru.com
ODesk.com
WarriorForum.com

On the other hand, I still think affiliate marketing is the ideal way of working from home and making money, and while getting started can be done WITHOUT any upfront expenses, it's a long-uphill commute and often success comes a bit faster if one could at least afford a domain name and web-hosting...which should be less than $75 dollars for the first (1st) year.

If you can, feel free to list those skills you currently have and/or any 'passion' of yours and we'll see where that leads us!

In the meantime, keep your head up as things can only get better!

Cheers...

Dear djs_rosaliesmommy ~

I hope you will find the job immediately, even me who have a job still struggle to find an extra income to pay all the needs.

Keep stronger and be patient.. God will always take care of you..

Cheers...

There are tons of ways to make money online.. it is the age of the home based entrepreneur for sure... have an open mind and do you due diligence. Is it a JOB that you want or a home business? A business allows for you to make more money for sure, but will take some investments.... what are your skills?

Sorry about your job... being a parent is hard work. I would find something that you would love to do and that makes you feel good about yourself. Also look at the company support system, that way you can make some new friends and support systems. Being at home can be stressful and haven't an outlet that makes you feel good will help a lot.
I know for me that was important to find a company that has lots of training and support. It has been a blessing for me to make the extra income I need and find some new friends.
