Default Prayer for my Sister

My sister has been in the hospital for a few days. One of my brothers has been by her side nonstop. Well, we were told yesterday that she took a turn for the worse and would probably not make it another day or so.

My dad has not been able to get ahold of my brother since yesterday afternoon. I fear the worst at this point. We figure she is gone. My dad is too scared to call the hospital to find out for sure. He just finished crying on my shoulder. I don't know what to say to him.

Also, we have a family member that has been trying to end my sister's life. I don't know what my sister's wishes are/were but she has not been able to communicate them for the last few days. But this individual has tried overdosing my sister with valium and she has cut the line to her life support. My brother wants to take her to court and put her in jail.

No matter what your opinion is about life support, noone should make that decision for another. I don't know what my wishes are. I guess I will leave that up to my husband to decide. I would like to think I would be brave enough to say let me go.

Anyways, I think I need some prayer. I am just not sure what I need prayed for. I guess I want my sister to no longer suffer. In the back of my mind I wish she would pull through so I could have a chance to say goodbye or that I love her but I don't think she is going to wake up.

I feel so bad for her and this just reminds me of how I lost my best friend three years ago and that is not something I need reminded of either. I did not have a chance to say what I needed to say to her either.

Well, I am depressed and I need to go to bed.

I ask for a prayer for my father. Please pray he finds the strength to deal with this. I ask for prayer for my sister. Please pray she gets the relief she needs, whatever the outcome. I ask for prayer for my brother and the rest of the family to deal with all of this...

Hi Mom2Sami:

I want to say how sorry I am that you are going through this. You can still tell your sister you love her. I'm sure she would hear you.

I will definitely pray for you all, escpecially your father and your sister.

Please stay strong.

Lucia

Hi Mon2sami,

As a Christian, I believe that God has the last word as far as LIFE is concerned. What I would do in your situation is get all the members of my church to pray because there is power in prayer. Secondly, I will ask the elders of the church to pray at her bedside, but only those that believe and have FAITH that GOD through His Son Jesus Christ will heal her.

Here is a man in Texas, USA you can phone to speak about your situation. He is a mighty man of GOD and he will help you.

Contact Information: Thurman Scrivner
Email: tls_ministries@hotmail.com
Phone: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM CST (940) 242-2106

His website: The Living Savior Ministries

God bless

Mal

Default Update

She is doing a little better today. I hope she gets better. We got a chance to talk to my brother today so he said she seems better.

I told him I love him and I hope he passes that on to my sister (she is not in the same state as me so I am hearing everything long distance).

Thanks again for all the prayers and keep them coming...

Praying for you and your family. The Lord that holds the universe is holding all of you, and He will give you His peace.

I'm praying that your sister will be in peace and that her life quality will be held in the highest regard. May she be comforted during this time of need and know that she is loved by her family and friends. I pray that your sister will be kept under the blessing of all that is LOVE.

Mom2Sami I am happy to hear your sister is doing better. I have prayed for her everyday since your first post and will continue to do so. Through prayer and faith all things are possible as so God wills it. Be blessed and please keep us posted.
