Good point, Kaitlyn. That's why I love our Vemma Verve. It's a healthy energy drink and the caffeine is naturally sourced from green tea.

I agree that some of the stuff you find in the stores are full of caffeine and other additives and are unhealthy bordering on dangerous.
But there are all natural products out there that give you a little extra energy lift without causing health issues. Our Emv for instance is all natural with no added caffeine. Its made with all natural ingredients and my 95 year old mother enjoys one in the afternoons with no adverse consequence. There are a number of others listed on this thread which are similarly all natural. Of course, all things in moderation.

Well i have to agree with VemmaMom as to how good the Vemma Verve energy drink really is. I drink at least 1 every 2 days and have seen/felt not only a physical energy boost but also a mental one as well.. And if you are like me who works on the computer most of the day you can really feel the metal boost that Verve gives you!

I just read this on WDDTY (What doctors don't tell you) Anyone still drinking this stuff needs to think twice. If you really need "soda" many of the ALL NATURAL energy drinks here are slightly carbonated. Or, I drink an once of one of our juices with club soda for a natural, refreshing and healthy lift.
Diet drinks raise stroke, heart attack risk 01 February 2012 People who drink a diet soda drink every day are far more likely to suffer a stroke or a heart attack, a new study has found. The drinks, which often include artificial sweeteners, increase the risk of a stroke or heart attack by 43 per cent in those who drink them every day compared to someone who never drinks them. They threat is in the frequency, say researchers from the University of Miami. People who drink a diet soda or cola occasionally – such as once a month – were unlikely to see their risk increase. Only those who drank at least six diet drinks a week were at risk. The results were based on an analysis of 2,564 participants in the Northern Manhattan Study, which is assessing the risks for stroke over a 10-year period.
