Default Besides the quailty of their products, what "perks" does your company offer?

Having been involved in various aspects of direct selling and network marketing for more years than I care to remember, I know better than most that recruitment and retention require more commitment than most distributors are willing or able to give over a long term basis.

As a result the vast majority give up too soon and spend lots of their time thereafter telling everyone who will listen that network marketing does not work. The numbers vary slightly but generally it is estimated that the average networker recruits about 2 distributors more or less.

Obviously this makes it difficult for someone to feel successful as they promote their businesses and feel like they are swimming in jello.

Recently some of the more forward thinking companies have started to address the issues of recruitment and retention and are taking steps to help the "little guy" achieve more success.

I think this forum is a good place for some of us to educate others who are looking for that "perfect" business. Those of us with experience know that its more than just products and pay. It's also about corporate support, training, and just plain feeling like your company appreciates your efforts and is listening.

So what does your company do to help with stuff besides getting the products produced and the checks mailed? Any additional benefits? Perks? Training? Advertising? Other?

I just came from a Business Building Seminar (my company has them regularly all over the country) and the stuff planned is simply amazing.

I can only give the condensed version here but:

1. The comp plan is being modified to give distributors their product free once they have 2 customers/distributors on autoship.

2. I addition to the low cost health insurance it already makes available, the company is adding discounted eyecare, prescriptions, dental and even plastic surgery (not that any of us need it!)

3. My company will be sending me (and other distributors and preferred customers on autoship) a loyalty card in the mail in two weeks that will give me discounts at just about EVERY big box retailer out there including Target, Walmart, Winn Dixie, Kroger, Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond and more.

4. The company has created its own personal "groupon" site.

5. Plans are in the works for more free product sample giveaways like the one they just ran. They gave away 20,000 bottles of product and have 15,000 pre-registered to get a bottle with the next promotion. Those leads are going to distributors.

6. Plans are in the works for another weight loss challenge with the grand prize being a car.

The list could go on since there is much more in the works. However, I am ecstatic that my company sees and is addressing the challenges facing its distributors in promoting their products and business opportunity in this economy. Many people know they need to take better care of themselves, eat better, lose weight etc but they can't afford it. My company heard that message and is working to make health and wellness more affordable. I like that!

I know other companies are taking similar steps...any other stories out there?

Free Customers! I'm involved in Beachbody's business opportunity, and the infomercials they run create thousands of customers a week, which are then given out to the distributors as leads. The infomercials also create a huge brand awareness and everyone has heard of their products. Which is great because it means I don't have to explain the products, people are ready to buy.

Although the company my husband and I are working with is new, here are some of the awesome perks:

1. Leads generated by the company and distributed to all the active reps
2. New reps get 3 free listings to give away, sell at retail or sell at a discount
3. Paid weekly
4. Customers earn too
5. Quick branding of the company through radio jingles
6. Company run ads for new rep leads
7. Car bonus
8. Great training for team and individuals
9. Customer(coupon user) sweepstakes
10: Customers (coupon users) earn through the bonus pool

Sounds like some of the other companies are also starting to pay attention to the needs of their reps and getting very innovative. Sure is great especially in the economic climate we're living in now.

The previous poster hit on something very important and I quoted it above. It is a smart company that pays attention to its distributors/reps.

Although health and wellness/weight loss should be priorities, my company realizes that it loses its priority when someone does not have enough money.

Two of the perks my company is now offering specifically address that issue. Starting October 1, 2011 distributors get their product free every month they have just TWO customers ordering product.

Additionally, in addition to access to low cost health insurance, my company is going to be issuing discount cards to its distributors on autoship that will entitle them to discounts on dental, eyecare, prescription drug, hearing, shopping (at over 500,000 retailers) and entertainment.

they know how hard it is to start a business and want to make it easier for its distributors to "carry" and grow their businesses. Word has it that the savings will far exceed what the average distributor spends on product. Now that is a perk!

Exclamation New free perk...Loyalty Program beginning late October

Very soon, MonaVie will mail out personalized Retail Rewards Cards to all MonaVie distributors in North America who are on AutoShip.

With this card, distributors will be entitled to discounts at retailers across North America. This will give distributors savings on food, clothing, entertainment, and more. With the card will come a booklet that contains additional coupons as well as information on how and where to use the card's many benefits.

Distributors can get started on saving big when MonaVie unveils a website where you can enter in your ZIP code and download printable coupons redeemable at surrounding retailers, restaurants, and more. This website will be launched in late October 2011.

For most distributors the savings will be substantial enough to more than offset the cost of the products even for those distributors who just really want to use the products and who don't recruit. It would cost you money not to be a distributor.
