Binary plans really are the best if you understand them. Both companies I represent have them. Alot of people dont like them or say they dont work. But the truth is they do work, very well the trick is you have to work! If you are not willing to treat this as a business and make commitments you will not be successful. Anyone can do this business. If you love what you are taking you will be automatically sharing it with people. It may be snail slow or lighting fast. That depends on you.

The binary mlm compensation plan is quite simple. The first two people that a member personally sponsor should be the start of two separate teams. It forces members to help their downline more and it makes the group more profitable. The downline synergizes with eachother and it promotes teamwork.

I have a couple MV questions. My coworker & I were discussing Mona Vie today because her husband is a distributor. But he's not recruiting or selling..?.. and the monthly product is stacking up in the garage. She said he has a bunch of people in one leg and none in the other. I explained the binary to her and she said that he supposedly has a sum of money in "an account" from his full leg and that once he starts recruiting that he will get paid that money. Does that sound right? Almost as if his commission would be retroactive?

& she also didn't know if he had a website. So I called the corporate office. I asked where to do a search of distributors in my area. I played like I was considering enrolling and wanted to check the saturation of reps in my area. They actually told me that they couldn't give out that information to protect the reps privacy! What?? So if I wanted to enroll locally, I couldn't find someone's website unless I knew their rep number already. I don't get it....
& also the lady at corp. said they don't give out the stats on reps because "you shouldn't be worried how many reps are in your area if you work your business." Huh? Again, I don't get it.

Back in December when I wanted to try the product, I could not find a rep in my area. I was stunned that the company didn't have a distributor locator by zip code.
So I found someone 3000 miles away by way of google.

Anywho, you are correct that your friend, as long as he is active, will accumulate the bv in the one leg that is growing. When he grows the other leg, he will then get 10% of the lesser leg, and that volume will be subtracted from the other leg. Brig Hart explains it great on his website. Brighart.com. It's a tough balancing act. Tell him to be careful with all the product in the garage, because it does have an expiration date.

The key to this business, as with any business is consistant activity. Best of luck to you and him!

I just found it a little odd that there were such "privacy" issues. If I'm making that monthly purchase to the tune of hundreds of dollars, I'd sure want people to be able to find me! & I"d be more inclined to sell something if there were only a few reps in town. But if there's one on every street, then I'd certainly pass. & given that they absolutely refuse to tell you how many reps are in your town, I'd never sell it no matter how good the product. Am I crazy here?

Default comp plans

If a person has product stacking up in their garage........they are in the wrong business PERIOD. The best comp plan is not a unilevel nor is it a binary, etc. It is a balanced comp plan! Binaries have a little secret way of ripping you off while making you believe it is in your favor. I prefer to get paid on all of my efforts so I work with a true straight line compensation plan that has a unilevel bonus structure. It is very common to see one leg in a binary be huge and normally that leg is built partially by your sponsor, their goal of course is to get you to try and match that leg by sponsoring people yourself. Now, don't get me wrong........you can definitely make very good money in these plans so I'm not saying they are all bad. I'm just saying I prefer to work with a company that pays me for EVERYTHING I do plus pays me for what the company overall is doing. And I prefer to have a product that I never have stacked anywhere because it is consumed and the company handles inventory rather than me. I work from home, my house is not a warehouse. I want my downline to order product because they want to use the product, not to stack it somewhere. I use autoship only because it is easier for me, not because it is required.

Seriously, I think anyone stacking product in their garage needs to look at a different company. If you are not being paid for everything you do, you are being ripped off!
